CONSTRUCTING EXCELLENCE YORKSHIRE & HUMBER 2023 AWARD FINALISTS

We are thrilled to announce that Triton Construction are FINALISTS in not ONE but TWO awards for Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber 2023 awards Client of the Year Award.  The Conservation and Regeneration Award is for our project at Hyde Park Picture House and the conservation and remodeling of this ICONIC Leeds institution for Leeds Heritage Theatres, Leeds City Council, and funded in part by the National Lottery Heritage Fund  Secondly Production Park, XPLOR Building, a world-class events, and live production building for the performing arts industry.

FUN IN THE SUN DRAGON BOAT RACING

Sunday saw #teamtriton supporting the Rotary club of Skipton who are part of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland with their fabulous Dragon Boat Race at The Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa Lake. There were 26 entries taking part this year. Triton came a very impressive 5th place which we were delighted with. Huge congratulations and thanks to all who took part, Captain Paul Halloran, Paul Clarkson, James Ayrton, Craig Bennett, Craig Daniels, our drummer Sarah Ferrand-Dyer, Richard Schofield, Steve and the guys from SEB Drylining Ltd .

NEW CONTRACT AWARD FOR THE YORKSHIRE OFFICE

Triton are delighted to have been awarded another great local scheme. This project is for the demolition of a single storey shopping centre and then the erection of a block of residential accommodation in Beeston just outside of Leeds, work will begin on the project shortly.

NEW CONTRACT AWARD FOR THE NORTH WEST OFFICE

We are happy to share with you that we have been awarded a great new scheme in Manchester. Work will start on site early June and comprises of the site preparation and demolition of existing buildings and the design and construction of 9no. two storey industrial and logistics warehouse units of varying size, totalling 8,227 sqmt along with associated external works, hardstanding, car parking and revised access arrangements

NEW CONTRACT AWARD FOR THE NORTH WEST OFFICE

Triton are delighted to have been awarded a contract for a new care home in Burnley. Enabling works on the new Exemplar Health Care scheme will begin in May and then in June the main works of a three storey, 34 bed Care Home will start, the project includes associated external works

ANOTHER DELIVERY TO ALDER HEY HOSPITAL

We are delighted to share with you that one of our foremen, Phil Smith has been back delivering knitted items to Liverpool Alder Hey Hospital. The local church group have been knitting baby bonnets, cardigans and blankets for the children but needed a delivery option, once again Phil was only too happy to help. MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDERS

We are delighted to share with you that Gillian Powell and Andrew Ainsworth are now Mental Health First Aiders. The two day course teaches in depth skills for providing first aid to people who may be experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and psychosis. Well done Gillian and Andy.

For the second year running Triton Construction have chosen the Lighthouse Club to be their Charity of choice. Throughout the year Triton hold various event days, at the end of the year all proceeds are given to the nominated charity. In February a group of staff took part in Bradford Business Five Ltd event, which is a charity-based corporate sports competition, not only did our guys take part but we are delighted to announce Triton were the winners, as a result they were presented with the winners cheque which was forwarded onto the Lighthouse Club.
