CHRISTMAS JUMPER SITE MEETING

All the project team had a site meeting at Gordon Rhodes today and made it a festive occasion by all wearing Christmas Jumpers ! Triton were fortunate to submit a successful tender for a  2 storey office extension which was completed on this site in 2014. Since the devastating fire which eradicated all the offices, warehouse and main production unit Triton have again become the successful bidder to create a brand new replacement warehouse and office head quarters. Work began in September and is due to complete in the Summer of 2019.

ELF DAY

Team Triton released their inner Elf today on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society . Everyone who was based in the office today made a special effort to get involved by dressing up in all things elf. Apart from the dressing up we  also had a  round of Elf Bingo which Roger Swift won in record time. Raising £70.00 for this deserving cause whilst having fun , can definitely recommend it !

TRITON ANNUAL DINNER DANCE

Casa in Brighouse was the venue for the Triton annual dinner dance which was attended by over 80 staff and their partners There was a small awards ceremony included in the evening where certain members of staff are recognised for going above and beyond , one of which was the Health & Safety Award chosen by the Contracts  Manager and this was presented to Lee Pattison. NEW CONTRACT AWARD FOR NORTH WEST

Triton are delighted to have been nominated as the Main Contractor for a new classroom block extension at Sharples School in Bolton. Work is due to commence on site beginning of the New Year.  

SCHOOL VISIT TO SITE

Lee Pattison our Site Manager at Premier Inn – Heaton Park had a visit from the  Learning Ambassadors from the local primary school  find out about the building work taking place there. At first, the children looked in a room in the Premier Inn to see what the finished version would look like. Then they visited the Triton building site and met Lee.  Lee helped the children to learn about site safety.  The children also found out that the new part of the hotel will include an additional 39 bedrooms and will be completed next spring. WELLBEING & MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOPS

Latest research into the Construction industry’s mental health issues have highlighted more work needs to be done to help with the stigma surrounding mental health. With this in mind all staff including Directors are in the process of attending a Mental Health Awareness workshop. Each group of around 12 people from a mix of site personnel and office based staff aim to tackle the understanding of mental health and emotional wellbeing, how to stay mentally healthy , identify mental health issues and to generally encourage everyone to feel comfortable in discussing mental health and wellbeing. MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING

Today Triton Head Office staff held their annual Macmillan coffee morning. Everyone joined in with lots of amateur bakers producing some lovely cakes , muffins ,cup cakes ,cookies and clotted cream scones . In total we collected £128.13 so thank you to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who bought something.          

Martha’s Barn – Cuddington

Triton North west office are delighted to have been the successful bidder on a new build private treatment centre in Cuddington , Cheshire. The scheme comprises of a new build private residential and treatment centre with a 2 storey accommodation block and a single storey treatment and administration block. Work is due to commence very soon .    

TRITON CHARITY WEEKEND 2018

The weather wasn’t with us this year but that didn’t stop team Triton completing another fabulous weekend all in the name of charity. This years being the Hollybank Trust. The cycling team set off from head office in Liversedge and cycled a grueling 63 miles to Leyburn. A slight change to the programme this year with a challenge between Chris Horne and Josh Cutler . Chris challenged Josh to complete the entire journey on a mountain bike whilst Chris ( non professional cyclist ) attempted to beat him on his road bike , unfortunately due to technical difficulties Chris was unable to…

Woody and his Walkers set off today on the first stretch of the arduous walk over three days back to Leyburn in aid of Triton’s charity weekend. Todays journey see’s them walking from Liversedge to Skipton around 20 miles in total , a quick stop over and then their route takes them to the Youth Hostel in Kettlewell. The aim is to meet up with the 9 Mile Saturday walking crew of around 20 staff , family and friends and the 6 cyclists who will have cycled over 63 miles all meeting at the Three Horseshoes in Wensley for a well deserved…

TRITON HELPS PROTECT LOCAL ERUV

Triton were contacted by the Manchester Community Eruv in regards to our Premier Inn site at Heaton Park in Manchester They were very concerned  that this was just above the site  storage area and after meeting  Lee Pattison one of our Site Managers  a  small display with the information provided by the Manchester Community is visible to all site operatives . During our induction process the Eruv is discussed and to ensure its protection all operatives are made aware of its position. CHARITY WEEKEND 2018

All our cyclists and walkers are currently in training for this years Triton charity weekend which will take place on Saturday 8th September , we will be raising money for this years chosen charity Hollybank Trust. Hollybank is a registered charity based in Mirfield , West Yorkshire , who have been providing care for over 60 years. They support and educate over 100 children and adults at their special school , residential home and adult daytime activity programme.
