DELIVERING TO ALDER HEY HOSPITAL

We are delighted to share with you that one of our foremen Phil Smith has been delivering knitted items to Liverpool Alder Hey Hospital these last few days. NEW CONTRACT AWARD FOR THE YORKSHIRE OFFICE

Triton are delighted to have been awarded a new contract in Durham. Work will begin at the start of 2023 for Choice Support for 6nr bungalows these will be supported by a single storey office accommodation block. This project will have integrated smart building technology, together with associated drainage and services alterations, all infrastructure and include external hard and soft paving works.

TRITON ANNUAL DINNER DANCE

Berties in Elland was the chosen venue again for Triton Constructions Annual Dinner Dance, it is always a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues across the wider business and their partners. There was a small awards ceremony included in the evening where certain members of staff were recognised for going above and beyond, one of which was Mick Flaherty who won our coveted Health & Safety award and Neil Whitehead who won the commitment award for his continued dedication to all things Triton. Congratulations to Dan Robinson with a little work experience today on site at Darlington College, great work from our site manager Carl Jackson who offered the college a bricklaying work experience position as we work on site building new facilities for the college – well don Dan, we hope this opportunity has given you an idea for the future.

TRITON CHARITY WEEKEND

This weekend saw the return of Triton’s famous charity weekend, where staff, family and friends along with some of our subcontractors enjoyed a fun ‘Sports Day’ style weekend. With tossing the hay bale, egg and spoon race, three legged race, space hopper assault course, wellie throwing, slippery pole dunking and ending with a good old fashioned tug of war being enjoyed by all participants young and old. Awards we given out to all our winners, though it looks like some ended up with more medals than races they had participated in, mentioning no names Deborah! The fun continued well into…

CHANCERYGATE YORKSHIRE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE

Triton are proud to have been able to sponsor Chancerygate on their Three Peaks Challenge. Chancerygate’s chosen charity for 2022 is Action Tutoring, they support young people facing socio-economic disadvantage to achieve a meaningful level of academic attainment. There are 31 of them taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this September and there are a number of staff tutoring students alongside this challenge. Well done to everyone taking part. THANK YOU FROM THE YORKSHIRE CHILDREN’S CHARITY

Earlier this year a small team of Triton staff were lucky enough to spend a great afternoon at Rudding Park for a wonderful cause, Yorkshire Children’s Charity at the Commercial Retail Estate Awards 2022. Each guest was asked to donate £20 to buy toys for children living at a disadvantage in Yorkshire. We have since received a lovely letter from the Charity and a teacher from St George’s Primary School in Hull which is where our soft toys were sent. We also received a special thank you from one of the pupils.

This week we have had Emily Scott join the team at Head Office for some work experience. Emily has just left High School and will be continuing her studies at Wakefield College this September. Emily spent her time mainly in the Business Development Department helping out with administration duties and also helping out our Buying Team. Well done Emily, it has been a pleasure to have you as part of the team and everyone at Triton would like to wish you luck in your chosen career.
