TRITON CONSTRUCTION REPORTS RECORD YEAR

Triton Construction has reported its best ever trading performance but said a period of consolidation is expected in 2020 following this year’s political uncertainties. The company, which has offices at Liversedge in West Yorkshire and Warrington, has reported consolidated turnover of £58m and a 76 per cent increase in net profits for the year ending 31 March 2019. It has achieved 106 per cent increase on 2017 turnover, as well as growth on the prior two years where turnover averaged at £36m. The transformation of the Royal Liver Building featuring grade A office accommodation, a gym, and restaurants is progressing well. The building was purchased by Corestate, a Luxembourg-based international investor, for £48m after being put on the market for the first time in its history. Everton FC owner Farhad Moshiri was Corestate’s partner on the deal, with Barings providing a £29.7m facility to support the acquisition. ROYAL LIVER BUILDING OFFICE REFURBISHMENT GETS UNDER WAY

The transformation of the Royal Liver Building featuring grade A office accommodation, a gym, and restaurants is set to complete in November. CBRE and contractor Triton have kicked off the works which will see office suites of up to 43,000 sq ft delivered over the ground, mezzanine, and first floors. A gym is being installed which will be accessed by a new entrance from the Strand, while a restaurant is planned to be incorporated into the building fronting Pier Head. TRITON COMPLETES £5M INDUSTRIAL SCHEME IN LEEDS   Triton Construction has completed the development of a new 65,000 sq ft. industrial scheme on the historic Wortley Low Mills estate in Leeds. Whitehall Point now offers three purpose-built warehouse units of 13,600 sq ft., 31,600 sq ft. and 20,000 sq ft. for which the latter is pre let. PENISTONE GRAMMAR STUDENT VISIT

Triton Construction welcomed the Penistone Grammar School Construction Students on a tour of the Extension Project that is currently in Week 23 of a 44 Week Programme.
