Triton are delighted to have been awarded a contract for a new care home in Burnley. Enabling works on the new Exemplar Health Care scheme will begin in May and then in June the main works of a three storey, 34 bed Care Home will start, the project includes associated external works
We are delighted to share with you that one of our foremen, Phil Smith has been back delivering knitted items to Liverpool Alder Hey Hospital. The local church group have been knitting baby bonnets, cardigans and blankets for the children but needed a delivery option, once again Phil was only too happy to help. We are delighted to share with you that Gillian Powell and Andrew Ainsworth are now Mental Health First Aiders. The two day course teaches in depth skills for providing first aid to people who may be experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and psychosis. Well done Gillian and Andy.
For the second year running Triton Construction have chosen the Lighthouse Club to be their Charity of choice. Throughout the year Triton hold various event days, at the end of the year all proceeds are given to the nominated charity. In February a group of staff took part in Bradford Business Five Ltd event, which is a charity-based corporate sports competition, not only did our guys take part but we are delighted to announce Triton were the winners, as a result they were presented with the winners cheque which was forwarded onto the Lighthouse Club. On Thursday 2nd March, Managing Director Paul Clarkson, NW Regional Director Paul Halloran, NW Regional Commercial Director James Sykes and NW Contracts Manager Craig Bennett are taking part in the LandAid SleepOut to raise money to help support young people who are homeless. Last year, an estimated 121,000 young people approached their council as they were homeless or at risk of homelessness. This is a 40% rise in 5 years.
