BEESTON COMMUNITY CENTRE

This project was for a new build of a community center to replace the old existing building. The Community Centre is a multi use center with various groups using the facilities which include a nursery and creche, adult learning as well as adult and children cooking lessons.

This Centre is a two storey building with a steel framed pitched roof.

The ground floor was constructed of ground bearing concrete slabs with screed finish, the brickwork was external leaf and internal blockwork leaf.

2nd floor had precast planks and screeded floor with internal studwork walls. The building had 33 velux windows installed to aid natural light. A disabled hoist lift was fitted along with 2  staircases for access to the 1^st floor.
