Triton Construction is pleased to announce its involvement in the Markham Vale Staveley Waterside Phase 1 project, which aims to revitalise the Staveley Canal Basin site in Derbyshire. The project involved the construction of a two-storey building designed to provide flexible space for new and existing small businesses, as well as accommodating some retail use and a dedicated food and beverage offering. The building features both indoor and outdoor dining areas, along with supporting infrastructure including an access road and mooring space.
A total of eleven units have been developed within the centre, each equipped with kitchen and restroom facilities. In addition to the new building, a 40-metre footpath has been constructed along Hall Lane, enhancing access to the area. This initiative was intended to increase visitor engagement with the canal and has also created space for approximately ten new businesses, further supporting the local economy.
