This project was for the construction of a new steel framed Raw Materials Reception building and adjacent concrete service yard.

Project works included the erection of a steel frame, concrete floor slab, external cladding, overhead roller shutter doors and drainage works.

A temporary haul road was required to enable contractors access across waste ground.

As these works took place in the live environment of a busy production plant all deliveries were scheduled to not cause inconvenience to the working of the main plant.

Warren Emerald Biogas Ltd convert food waste collected locally into renewable energy, bio-fertilizer and bio-methane Gas via onside fuel stations, this gas is then used by collection vehicles. The bio-methane produced is also injected into the local Gas Grid, helping to heat local homes and businesses as a renewable alternative to natural gas

The project consisted of an extension to the existing mill premises. This incorporated converting and extending an existing canopy structure to form new warehousing and a raised loading area. A further lean-to extension was incorporated in the works, along with new hard standings and drainage.

We constructed a new 10,000sq/ft heated warehouse on Vibro foundations and completely stripped out the existing building to provide new offices and storage, including new M & E systems throughout.
