NHS PS TARLETON HEALTH CENTRE

This project was for internal refurbishment of an NHS Health Centre, including structural alterations.

The internal fit-out materials included, Gyproc Plasterboard, Gyproc Duraline (in corridor areas), Ceilings in Clinical rooms; Armstrong Bioguard Acoustic tegular tiles on and including Prelude TL24 exposed grid system and Formica worktops in the consulting rooms.

We stripped the existing pitched roof and installed new roof tiles, using Breathable membrane fixed with 50x50mm timber treated battens, Britmet Slate 2000 roof tiles, 0.9mm and added Fakro roof lights. For the flat roof area we used 2 layer Polyglass Polyshield TS4 overlay mineral felt system.

A new boiler system was required after we had stripped the existing plant-room system.

The health centre was open during the works so careful planning was required at all times.

Refurbishment works have now been completed of an existing 3 storey live NHS Centre for Health within the Bolton City Centre. The works carried out were on floors 1, 2 and 3 which include internal remodeling to create workspaces for the different practices within the building.
