WORK EXPERIENCE WEEK

Taylor Eccles joined the Triton team for a week for work experience,Taylor has nearly completed her year 10 at Spen Valley High School which is local to Triton Head Office. This week Taylor  has been shadowing Josh Cutler who is one of our Quantity Surveyors, they have visited numerous sites (Staycity, Big Yellow & Westmorland) undertaking tasks including drawing and material take offs, onsite measures of works – comparing the results against tender measures and subcontract claims, completing paperwork, sending emails and overviewing the general day-to-day job a QS undertakes. FLYING HIGH IN HOLYHEAD

  The Triton drone has been in action again this time in Anglesey at our site for a new build 80 bedroom Premier Inn. Its coming along nicely and will be due for completion in January 2019.      

PREMIER INN – YORK NORTHWEST

A new scheme for Premier Inn is due to start on site on the 30th July in York. This new scheme is for a 24 bed extension which will also include a new larger Reception area. A new lift will also be included in the works which will connect the extension to the existing hotel.  

TRITON DRONE IN ACTION AT BIG YELLOW

Phil Dyer our North West Business Development Director has been out and about with his drone. The £12 million development scheme which Triton have started at Castlefields in Manchester is coming along very nicely indeed as proven with this fantastic shot taken by Phil.    

NEW CONTRACT AWARD FOR YORKSHIRE OFFICE

A new 44 bed extension has been secured by the dedicated Whitbread team which will be located at the Xscape park in Castleford. This new scheme is slightly different as rather than the usual Timber frame this project will use a Steel Metsec frame. Due to start on site very soon.  

ROBERTTOWN LANE PRE – SCHOOL GALA 2018

Triton moves into Liverpool Region with deal worth £10m Triton Construction has acquired Merseyside’s Remstone Construction in a deal that will take their group turnover to record heights this year. HIGH PRAISE FOR SITE MANAGER ON PREMIER INN

It is always nice to get recognised for hard work which was the case for one of our Site Mangers on a Premier Inn scheme in Scunthorpe Working on an extension whilst the original Hotel was still in operation is no easy task, working alongside staff and guests in a live environment can sometimes be tricky but Tim embraced the challenge which was highlighted by the lovely Thank You card and gift from all the staff Well done Tim keep up the good work !      

NEW BUILD PREMIER INN AT HOLYHEAD GETS UNDERWAY

Developer Conygar Investment Company appointed Triton Construction back in February to build their new 80 bed Premier Inn. As Triton have been successfully building Premier Inns through the Whitbread Framework agreement it was a short step to help Conygar with their scheme. BIG YELLOW STORAGE SCHEME HITS THE NEWS

£12 MILLION DEVELOPMENT ON CASTLEFIELDS HALLOWED RAILWAY
