Triton Construction welcomed the Penistone Grammar School Construction Students on a tour of the Extension Project that is currently in Week 23 of a 44 Week Programme. Josh Cutler, Adam Standeven, Kev Fish and Luke Sowerby led the students around site looking at the External & Roof works and Ground & First Floor fit out including the new Science Rooms and classrooms. We are delighted to announce Hannah Flaherty has won a BIG (Building Industry Greats ) award at Leeds College of Building for her hard work and commitment. Hannah is in her last year studying for HND Level 5 in Construction Built Environment. Hannah’s continued commitment and hard working ethos is not only at College but on a day to day basis in the Estimating team which has been reflected in her promotion from Trainee Estimator to Assistant Estimator at the beginning of the year. Berties in Elland was the venue for the Triton annual dinner dance which was attended by over 80 staff and their partners There was a small awards ceremony included in the evening where certain members of staff are recognised for going above and beyond , one of which was the Health & Safety Award voted for by the M/D , H&S Manager and the Construction Directors and this year it was presented to Neil Whitehead. Triton supported the day by donating a prize for this most deserving cause. The event was a phenomenal success and raised over £315,000 through all the fundraising activity – a tremendous result. All funds raised through the event will go towards the Sight and Sound Centre, supported by Premier Inn. The new Centre will be the first dedicated medical facility for children with sight and hearing loss in the UK. Children with conditions that affect their ability to see and hear represent the largest outpatient group at the hospital. While the care provided is excellent, current facilities do not cater for their needs.…

TRITON COMPLETES £1.2M WAREHOUSE FOR TECH FOLIEN 1st October 2019 Triton Construction has completed works to deliver a new 30,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Liverpool for Tech Folien, a well-known niche producer of blown film extrusion for the labelling and graphics industry. The new £1.2 million facility at Triumph Business Park on Speke Hall Road is an addition to Tech Folien’s existing 100,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on the same park. TRITON STARTS £3.5M PROJECT FOR MANCHESTER SCHOOL AS SECTOR PORTFOLIO GROWS Chorlton Park Primary School in Manchester is set to gain a brand-new teaching block at the start of the new term in 2020. Triton Construction has started a £3.5m contract to demolish the existing 1960’s school block and replace it with a new state-of-the-art facility including 8 classrooms, assembly hall, community sports hall, specialist education and reprographic provision, together with staff and break-out areas. TRITON SECURES FOUR NEW INSTRUCTIONS AS IT REACHES 1000 ROOMS MILESTONE FOR PREMIER INN Triton Construction has completed construction of the new Liverpool North Premier Inn and been appointed on four new Premier Inn projects as Whitbread continues to expand the UK’s largest hotel chain. TRITON INSTRUCTED ON £2M EXTENSION TO GRAMMAR SCHOOL Triton Construction has secured a contract worth £2 million to build a new extension at Penistone Grammar School in Barnsley. The overall investment by the local authority was for a two-phase project: 1. Triton DROPS Team featured in the Women’s Tour de Yorkshire last month and are riding the Tour of Britain this week. Triton’s founder and chairman Michael Parkinson, a cycling fan, is married to Lisa Brambani, four-times national road and time trial champion and a silver medalist in the 1990 Commonwealth Games road race. Their daughter Abby Mae Parkinson is a former national junior road race Champion and rides for Team Drops. Drops is made up mainly of international-level riders who focus purely on road racing.
