This project was for the remodeling works to internal spaces, ranging from complete restructure of 3 classrooms, relocation of staffroom, new hygiene suite. The works also included a new install of the hot and cold-water service to the entire site.
Initially programmed at 13 weeks, all works completed in 8 weeks which allowed the school to have possession of areas after the summer shutdown. The works included re-routing of the sub mains and the re-routing of hot and cold water due to potential asbestos being present within the proposed routes. Re-design of hygiene suite shower and drainage layout due to unidentified asbestos being found within the floor void.
The school was partly occupied at the beginning of the works, therefore segregation was paramount.
