For the second year running we are delighted to announce we have been listed in the Fastest 50 awards. This year we were in 10th place overall and we are very pleased with our result. Beech Hill Juniors Phase 2 – Is a scheme for a new 2 storey, 5 Classroom extension with links to the main existing building This is the second scheme we have done for Beech Hill and Triton are delighted to be working with GHP Architects again

Triton staff as usual gave it their all on the Christmas Jumper day with the majority of the staff joining in There were a few rather strange entries (Giles !!) but overall everyone believed it was a good cause and gave their £2 fine for wearing their chosen jumpers A Christmas jumper game was also organised and the lucky winner was Tom Halloran who won £14.00 but kindly donated it back to the final total

Roger Clayton and Darren Bowen our Site Managers at the Grove House site have unveiled a beam which dates back to 1797. Triton are currently on site constructing a new 3 storey , 63 bed care home and whilst working on the refurbishment on the original building which dates back to the 17th Century the beam was exposed. The house for many years was known as New Hall and was probably built by Joseph Dobson , an attorney and important landowner , it was sold in 1878 and bought by William Dibb Scales who was a retired prosperous boot manufacturer…

This years Tritons Christmas raffle was a huge success and raised over £290.00 for Heart Research All the staff joined in so much so we ran out of raffle tickets ! A raffle and a few light hearted auctions ensured everyone had a good time Thank you everyone who bought tickets, especially those of you who didn’t actually win anything – it was for a good cause, so that is what really counts

More good news for everyone at team Triton as we secure another new contract for a warehouse and office extension in Leeds. Work will commence on site soon and we are looking forward to securing another firm and lasting relationship with Scattergood and Johnson who are a new client to Triton.

Triton were the proud sponsors of this weekends National Cyclo-Cross event which was spread over 2 days in Peel park Bradford. Soft ground mixed with a number of off-camber sections and slippery descents led to some exciting and close racing throughout the day. Staff and their families joined our clients and suppliers in the Triton VIP marquee to watch the racing throughout the weekend. Mike Parkinson’s close association with British Cycling saw him present some of the winners with their trophy’s and it was agreed that a good time was had by all. The Drighlington Old Folks Outing Committee is an organisation which one of our long serving Site Managers – Douglas Eastwood is the Chairman It is operated by residents of the village on a voluntary basis and 2016 has been a momentous year for everyone connected This year the Summer outing was a trip to St Annes and with the support of local businesses and the generosity of residents they were able to take 211 guests on the annual trip which is the biggest trip they have hosted to date Due to the great success of the fund raising efforts it…

Josh Cutler one of our Quantity Surveyors has recently been on an end of season training camp in Majorca. Josh is part of the 3RT Cycling Team and accompanied by two other team mates they spent 7 days cycling in the sun rather than the dismal British weather. Averaging around 4 hours each day on their bikes they managed to take in some wonderful scenery. The longest day was on the coast rode from Andratx to Valdemossa which was a journey of over 123km equating to nearly 5 hours of riding , Josh wore his Team Triton jersey on this day which…
