Triton North west office are delighted to have been the successful bidder on a new build private treatment centre in Cuddington , Cheshire. The scheme comprises of a new build private residential and treatment centre with a 2 storey accommodation block and a single storey treatment and administration block. Work is due to commence very soon .
The weather wasn’t with us this year but that didn’t stop team Triton completing another fabulous weekend all in the name of charity. This years being the Hollybank Trust. The cycling team set off from head office in Liversedge and cycled a grueling 63 miles to Leyburn. A slight change to the programme this year with a challenge between Chris Horne and Josh Cutler . Woody and his Walkers set off today on the first stretch of the arduous walk over three days back to Leyburn in aid of Triton’s charity weekend. Todays journey see’s them walking from Liversedge to Skipton around 20 miles in total , a quick stop over and then their route takes them to the Youth Hostel in Kettlewell. The aim is to meet up with the 9 Mile Saturday walking crew of around 20 staff , family and friends and the 6 cyclists who will have cycled over 63 miles all meeting at the Three Horseshoes in Wensley for a well deserved…
Triton were contacted by the Manchester Community Eruv in regards to our Premier Inn site at Heaton Park in Manchester They were very concerned that this was just above the site storage area and after meeting Lee Pattison one of our Site Managers a small display with the information provided by the Manchester Community is visible to all site operatives . During our induction process the Eruv is discussed and to ensure its protection all operatives are made aware of its position. All our cyclists and walkers are currently in training for this years Triton charity weekend which will take place on Saturday 8th September , we will be raising money for this years chosen charity Hollybank Trust. Hollybank is a registered charity based in Mirfield , West Yorkshire , who have been providing care for over 60 years. They support and educate over 100 children and adults at their special school , residential home and adult daytime activity programme. All the team at Triton are very proud of Thom Halloran who graduated from Nottingham Trent University yesterday. After 5 long years Thom graduated with an excellent 2.1 BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying. Nottingham Trent Uni is not a short drive around the corner so Thom’s dedication has paid off and we are all delighted for him. Looking at the pictures it would seem a lot of well deserved celebrating went on ! Well done Thom on all your efforts and keep up the good work.
It’s been a busy week at Triton this week for work experience as Archie North also joined the Triton Team. Archie is 15 and is due to take his GCSE ‘s next year, and then may continue with his studies to complete his A Levels. His main ambition is to join the army – hopefully as an officer with the Household Cavalry which is admirable but if for any reason this doesn’t transpire Archie would be interested in developing a role within Construction as a QS. Taylor Eccles joined the Triton team for a week for work experience,Taylor has nearly completed her year 10 at Spen Valley High School which is local to Triton Head Office. This week Taylor has been shadowing Josh Cutler who is one of our Quantity Surveyors, they have visited numerous sites (Staycity, Big Yellow & Westmorland) undertaking tasks including drawing and material take offs, onsite measures of works – comparing the results against tender measures and subcontract claims, completing paperwork, sending emails and overviewing the general day-to-day job a QS undertakes. The Triton drone has been in action again this time in Anglesey at our site for a new build 80 bedroom Premier Inn. Its coming along nicely and will be due for completion in January 2019.
A new scheme for Premier Inn is due to start on site on the 30th July in York. This new scheme is for a 24 bed extension which will also include a new larger Reception area. A new lift will also be included in the works which will connect the extension to the existing hotel.
Phil Dyer our North West Business Development Director has been out and about with his drone. The £12 million development scheme which Triton have started at Castlefields in Manchester is coming along very nicely indeed as proven with this fantastic shot taken by Phil.
A new 44 bed extension has been secured by the dedicated Whitbread team which will be located at the Xscape park in Castleford. This new scheme is slightly different as rather than the usual Timber frame this project will use a Steel Metsec frame. Due to start on site very soon.
