The project consisted of the construction of a single storey extension, in natural stone with ashlar stone details and slate roof. The extension was adjacent 2 classrooms and as such noise and disturbance had to be kept to a minimum.

The extension houses a group room, cloakroom, girls, boys and disabled WC's. In the existing school other works were undertaken during the summer holidays. The reception was remodelled, 3 classrooms were fully striped out and refurbished as were two existing toilet facilities.

All the work was carried out in term time and around the SAT's examination period, close liaison with the school and consultants resulted in no hindrance to the school.
