The works consisted of the construction of a new dedicated single storey early years children's centre for Kirklees Metropolitan Council, with external "Rubber crumb" play areas, fencing and associated external facilities.
The original programme of 34 weeks was shortened considerably due to sourcing by Triton of "Timber Frame" construction methods, ultimately allowing the facility to open 8 weeks ahead of the originally projected date.
The scheme also included the construction of a new car park and entrance road, which was built in phases in order to maintain access to the existing school.
