CHARITY WEEKEND SUCCESS

The weather wasn’t with us this year but that didn’t stop team Triton completing another fabulous weekend all in the name of charity. This years being the British Heart Foundation.

The cycling team set off from head office in Liversedge and cycled a grueling 63 miles to Leyburn , not everyone who took part is a natural athlete not mentioning any names ( James !!)  but they did us proud by all their efforts and they all the completed the ride and with a high climb finish it can’t have been easy.

James went on to win the prestigious “Rider of the Day” trophy which is a major achievement for someone who did hardly any training.

45 Triton staff , family and friends did a 10 mile walk around Leyburn in the driving rain with only one pub stop to help them on their way but again every one including all the children finished in good time and were ready to cheer on the cyclists at the end

This years heroes have to be Paul Wood and his associates for the Long Walk which took over three days from head office all the way back to Leyburn a full journey of 55 miles – absolutely fabulous achievement !

Camping and a BBQ finished off the evening in good style with medals and awards for the winners.

The fun continued on Sunday with a clay pigeon shooting competition all proceeds going to charity.

Fantastic effort from everyone involved and so far we have raised nearly £3,000.00.

It is not too late to donate so please do support us and this worthy cause   https://www.justgiving.com/Triton-Construction-Ltd
