ROBERTTOWN LANE PRE -SCHOOL MAY DAY GALA

Triton were the proud sponsor of the first prize for the  local school event to help them with fundraising. Roberttown Lane Pre – School provide child care for approximately 30 local children and as a charity , they are responsible for their own fundraising so support from local businesses such as Triton is needed. The Gala was a great success and with the help of local people and the business community  raised a staggering £1,778  which will be used to purchase new equipment for the children in Pre-School.

A selection of 39 new loft apartments are now available to buy, as work starts on the final phase of the prestigious Belle Vue Mills scheme, right in Skipton town centre. CONTRACTS MANAGER JUMPS OUT OF PLANE !

Mike Wood one of our Contracts Managers has very bravely jumped out of a perfectly good plane at 15,000 ft all in the name of fun ! It would appear the pressure has finally got to him , looking  at the lengths he has gone to as a means of escape. Whilst this would seem crazy to most sane people Mike fully recommends it and is even considering doing it again. Well done from all the team at Triton Mike, it is an admirable achievement.

The Merrion Centre is celebrating a double milestone after announcing further investment in the Leeds shopping centre in partnership with Triton Construction. A new Warehouse scheme with associated works has been secured by the Triton team on the Parkwood Industrial estate in Sheffield. Works will commence on the 24th April for 26 weeks

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY DONATIONS

Triton staff as usual gave it their all on the Christmas Jumper day with the majority of the staff joining in There were a few rather strange entries (Giles !!) but overall everyone believed it was a good cause and gave their £2  fine for wearing their chosen jumpers A Christmas jumper game was also organised and the lucky winner was Tom Halloran who won £14.00 but kindly donated it back to the final total

GROVE HOUSE REVEALS HISTORY

Roger Clayton and Darren Bowen our Site Managers at the Grove House site have unveiled a beam which dates back to 1797. Triton are currently on site constructing a new 3 storey , 63 bed care home and whilst working on the refurbishment on the original building which dates back to the 17th Century the beam was exposed. The house for many years was known as New Hall and was probably built by Joseph Dobson , an attorney and important landowner , it was sold in 1878 and  bought by William Dibb Scales who was a retired prosperous boot manufacturer…

TRITON CHRISTMAS RAFFLE RAISES £293.000

This years Tritons Christmas raffle was a huge success and raised over £290.00 for Heart Research All the staff joined in so much so we ran out of raffle tickets ! A raffle and a few light hearted auctions ensured everyone had a good time Thank you everyone who bought tickets, especially those of you who didn’t actually win anything – it was for a good cause, so that is what really counts
